Uplitycs vs Fathom

Fathom charges before the first 10,000 views. Uplitycs is free there, then $19 with uptime included.

Why Uplitycs instead of Fathom

Fathom is a polished cookieless dashboard. It is also a paid product from the first plan, and it stops at traffic. Down pages are someone else’s problem.

Uplitycs is the same kind of calm report, with a free 10,000-event start and uptime in the same login. One tag, one first visit, and both the chart and the status page are live.

What the bill actually does

Fathom’s public entry is about $15 a month, aimed at a block of pageviews, and the line keeps climbing after that. A million pageviews is a different invoice from the starter plan.

Uplitycs does not charge for the first 10,000 events. The $19 Pro plan holds 2 million events. You are not shopping a second tool when a URL starts failing.

Make the switch

Pick Fathom if you already like its dashboard and you have uptime covered. Pick Uplitycs if you want one price for traffic and for “is it up?”

Paste the Uplitycs tag, open the site once, and the first visit verifies it. The demo is public if you want the charts before you create an account.
