Uptime how-it-works

Every 5 minutes, our uptime runner requests each site's uptime URL (HEAD by default, or GET if you select it in Settings).

• Private IPs and metadata endpoints are blocked (SSRF protection).
• After 3 consecutive failures we open an incident and send a down alert.
• When the site recovers, we send a recovery email and resolve the incident.
